The Canon RF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM is an amazing lens. It just doesn't take bad photos. sharp, fast, great contrast, beautiful colors. Just wow.  I picked mine up in the summer of 2020 - in the midst of Covid. The RF version of the venerable Canon lens is smaller and lighter than the EF version. However, this version expands and retracts through the zoom range. The EF was a solid and sealed tube. This lens is built tough feels solid (not as solid as the EF version, which felt like a lead pipe). In my opinion, Canon made some trade-offs: less weight, shorter, and better image quality in return for a moving zoom. Worth it.
