The Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM is another one of Canon's low profile pancake prime lenses. This is an inexpensive lens. You may be able to find it used on ebay for about $125.00. I picked up my copy in early 2016. I eventually sold this wonderful lens in 2020 when I no longer had any Canon crop body cameras with an EF-S mount. Whats not to like about a lens that is: small, light, fast, and cheap. I pair my copy with my crop bodies, but mostly with a Canon SL2 Rebel. Together with the SL2, this lens makes for a small and easy to carry DSLR. The lens is a strong performer. It is generally sharp and a fast focus. It renders colors very nicely and is well balanced with Canon's color science. I don't have many use for EF-S lenses, but this little lens is fun and one worth having in your bag.
