The pace of my illness progressed (I suffered from a bad case of the Shutter Bug), and I fell head long down into the proverbial rabbit hole. I plunked down big $$$ and bought the just released Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS II. What. Was. I. Thinking. Clearly I was not. I attached this monster to my little Rebel T2i and went about my business. But it was hard to be discrete with this hubble telescope attached to my camera. Folks in town noticed - I could hear the whispers and feel the questioning stares. I still didn't really know what I was doing. Over the years, I have, by far, taken more photos with this lens than any other. It is quick to focus and always, without fail, razor sharp. Just an amazing lens. By this time, Canon owned my soul.
