A member of the Holy Trinity of Canon prime lenses, the Canon EF 135 f/2L USM is a really special lens. It is one of Canon's oldest designs and I hope they never change it. It is not perfect, and can be challenging wide-open, but the quirks inherent to this lens are what makes the images look like no other. There is a sweet spot in distance of this lens from the subject that can create separation unlike any other. Bokeh? You betcha. Beautiful rendition of colors? Oh, yea. Sharp? Yes, tack sharp.
I've had this lens since late 2012. Another eBay find (what is wrong with people - selling this magic lens on eBay?). I do not use this lens as much as I should, but I will never part with this special prime. Thanks Canon. I see no reason to ever change this lens.
